Whiny Enjoying a Grape Gobby Wobbler

Here's a rare picture of Whiny (Tine's petulant child), who's very hard to capture in photos because she refuses to stand still and, in any case, doesn't like to be photographed. A fast shutter setting has been used with the camera, but the image still isn't very satisfactory. Whiny is shown with her shopping bag full of candy. She's eating something that in all likelihood is a Gobby Wobbler (probably a grape one, because that's her favorite flavor and she tends to bestow the others on her friend Sticky Syd).

Sticky Sydney is sticky in part because Whiny doesn't bother to look at Gobby Wobblers before she pops them in her mouth. She spits out the flavors she doesn't like. (Life may be "a bag of Gobby Wobblers," as the saying goes, but Whiny doesn't always accept what's handed to her, which is a good thing, come to think, Tine thought). Sticky Syd, on the other hand (so to speak), is inclined to accept what's handed to her. She eats anything and considers Whiny to be a very generous, though often very bad-tempered, friend. Sticky Syd isn't in the photo because she's at her own house today. School was canceled, presumably because of ice pellets, and her mother doesn't want her venturing out in them (especially not to go see Whiny).
